FAIRVIEW UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Since it's founding in 1891, Fairview has had a vital ministry to Eddyville, Kentucky, in Lyon county, blending traditional elements of "old time religion" with a contemporary witness to a timeless faith.

Although relatively small in number, the people of Fairview UMC have a strong desire to serve.  This can be seen in there historic commitment to missions, both locally as well as worldwide through the connectional system of the United Methodist Church.

Fairview regularly joins with other United Methodist Churches in the area to enhance its ministry opportunities.  Sunday and Wednesday Bible studies with Glen's Chapel United Methodist Church is one example of this combining of effort.
